Chapter 35

Kate’s POV

I couldn’t keep this information to myself. I had to tell Mark, and the others I trust. I quickly made my way to the training grounds, where I knew they would be.

“Anderson, Mark, Vin,” I called out, interrupting their training. “I need to talk to you guys. It’s important.”

They all looked at me, and I saw the concern in their eyes. “What is it?” Anderson asked.

“It’s about Sandy,” I said quickly. “I found a phone hidden in her room, and I called it. It was her. She’s alive.”

They all looked at each other in disbelief. “What?” Vin asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

“There was a moment of silence as they all processed what I had just said. Mark spoke up first. “We need to find out what’s going on. We can’t just sit here and do nothing.”

“I agree,” Anderson said firmly. “We need to investigate this. But we need to be careful. We don’t know what’s happening exactly.
