Philip’s POV

I paced back and forth in my office, fuming with anger. The rogue pack had defeated two of our territories, and it was only a matter of time before they came for the third and strongest one. I needed to come up with a plan, but my thoughts kept drifting to Isabella’s betrayal. How could she do this to me? I trusted her with my life, and she repaid me by giving up enough information to Sylvester.

Gendry told me about the betrayal, and showed me the evidence of her betrayal. That day, I had called him.

“Gendry,” I growled, summoning my second-in-command. “We need to find a way to take down the rogue pack before they destroy us.”

“I know, Philip. But we have another problem. Isabella has betrayed us. She’s been feeding information to Sylvester.”

My eyes widened in shock. “What? Why could she do something like that?”

“I don’t know,” he replied, his voice low. “But I do know that we can’t let her live. She’s put us all in danger.”
