Sylvester’s POV

After the attack on our pack from the unknown pack, we lost Rachel, a mother figure to the pack. She had taken care of us all like her own children. Losing her was like losing a part of ourselves. The pack mourned deeply for her loss and gave her a befitting burial for a werewolf.

Luna, who was closest to her, cried uncontrollably. Maria sobbed quietly, and Travis was heartbroken. Jackson was silent, lost in his own thoughts. I was speechless. I couldn’t believe she was gone.

We left our old territory and moved to a new one given to us by Philip, the alpha king of the Blood Moon Pack. The new territory was vast and had everything we needed to survive. But some of the pack members, including Travis, were not pleased with the new location. They wanted to go back to our old territory, the place we called home.
