I couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something missing in my life. I had always known I was adopted, but my curiosity about my biological parents had been gnawing at me for years. I needed to know who they were, where they came from, and most importantly, why they had given me up.

I began my search by going through old documents and records. It was tedious work, but I was determined to find something. I spent weeks going through piles of paperwork and I was about to give up hope when I found something that caught my eye.
