Chapter 42. Fighting Her Obedience

Rory's POV

"Babygirl, are you awake?"

I slid my fingers through Elsie's long red locks as she lay on her side curled up. The covers wrapped around her, she must have been cold before she fell asleep.

"Leave me alone," the small, weak voice came from beneath the mass of bed covers and hair. As I placed my hand on the covers over her body, I felt Elsie tremble before catching the quiet sobs as she cried.

Oh good, there it was. Her weakness was already beginning to show as Elsie began to crumble from my torment. I was really showing the girl how weak she was now. Soon she would fully succumb to me, begging me to be her protector once again.

"Come on sweetheart, don't cry," I said soothingly as I rubbed my hand over her covered body affectionately "I brought you some treats, are you hungry?"

"No," Elsie replied.
