Chapter 70. Seeking His Comfort

Elsie's POV

After Theo had left to show Bonnie to her room, I hadn't seen him for hours after. I was beginning to take it personally. So I went to find him.

I headed toward his study, where he could usually be found when he needed alone time or was brooding, and that's exactly where he was.

I knocked on the open door lightly, Theo looked up from the desk where he appeared to be messing with his phone and he gave me a weak smile.

"Hey Elsie, what can I do for you?" He asked, shifting his eyes from between me and his phone screen. What was so important there?

"You tell me," I replied, a frown formed on my brow and I entered the room "Theo, you've practically avoided me since you returned. I thought we could spend some time together, have I done something wrong?"

I searched my mind trying to think if I had caused offence to Theo in any way, but I had remained in the house and on the premises, training
