Chapter 24. Followed

Jennifer’s POV

“How was the project with Bob, did you finish it?” Reyna asked. She was sitting next to me. After I finished my last lesson for this morning I met them at our usual spot at our lunch table. I haven’t seen Bob since the second lesson and I am grateful that I had peace of mind.

“I don’t know, I think we are nowhere near finishing that stupid project. Why do I have to partner with an asshole,” I said and groaned.

“Look, the boys are coming,” Samantha whispered.

“Hey girls,” Tommy exclaimed. I ignored them and continued having conversations with Reyna.

“Hi,” Aaliyah and Samantha said back and continued talking. I noticed someone sitting beside me. It was Bob.

“What did you do this weekend?” Reyna asked me.

“My dad is not at home as well as my step mother for the next few weeks so I’m alone–” she cut the sentence.

“What? You are alone?” She asked with widened eyes. I can see a bright smile on her face.

I nodded.
