Jennifer’s POV

“Hey, can I ask you something?” He said.

“Yeah,” I said and nodded.

“What do you mean when you said that you saw me that night when the guys broke into your house, do you still remember that?” He asked and I gulped. I put my milkshake down and sighed.

If I tell him? He would kill me.

“Do you remember that night? In Brooklyn?” I asked and he nodded. “When I walked home and you found me, I told you I was going home from practice?” I added and he still nodded.

I saw he started to think and remember that night but he nodded after a few seconds.

I sighed. “I’m scared,” I said.

“You’re safe with me,” he assured.

I took a sip from my milkshake. “Well, remember when I was going home but when I walked to the alleyway down the streets in Brooklyn. I heard some voices. I hid behind the wall and I saw four guys just like a teen around a man, they’re with some Russian guy,” his eyes widened. “I saw that they killed an in
