Jennifer’s POV
“I just did what he deserved. I defended myself from someone who doesn’t know what personal space means.”
“Seriously? Aw, I love you, my dumbass best friend!”
I rolled my eyes while smiling.
We both reached our next class. Jared was seated in his chair, glancing down at his phone. Like I normally do, I approached him and sat down in the chair in front of him.
Jared is a really good friend of mine. He’s the only male friend that I have. It has become normal for us to exchange flirty comments.
“Hey, buddy,” I said and winked at him.
He looked up and shook his head in amusement. “Yo, short bud.”
I rolled my eyes at his greeting. “I’m not that short!” I pouted.
“Hmm,” he mumbled.
“What are you doing?” I asked him.
“Rob texted me, asking if I can come to his party this weekend,” he said, and I nodded.
