Elizabeth’s POV

I knew why she was calling. Jessica never wasted time, especially when she was waiting for juicy updates, so I already knew she wanted to ask how everything went and if Lauren was truly my sister. The phone kept buzzing beside me, vibrating against the covers like it was rushing me. I let out a small breath, picked it up, and answered, placing the phone against my ear.

“Tell me, did you confirm it? Is she your twin?” Jessica asked immediately, sounding like she’d been holding the question in her chest all day.

“Well, from what I’ve seen so far, I would likely say yes. Like you said, there’s no need to go to the hospital to confirm it. She literally looked like my photocopy today, we even wore the same dress.” I said, sitting down on the bed and crossing my legs slowly, letting myself sink into the mattress.
