Chapter 4

Miranda's eyes went wide for a moment as her mind raced with questions. She shook her head for a moment, letting out a few nervous chuckles. She swallowed hard, her voice nervous as she gazes into the man's piercing blue eyes. "What?"

"You. Me. My bed. Tonight."

Miranda continued to chuckle nervously, looking away for a moment in panic. "Shit!" She cursed under her breath, her eyes wide as she avoided the man's gaze. "What the hell is going on?"

She looked around for a moment, flustered as her mind raced. What should I do? She asked herself, watching how the man was staring at her, a glint of mischief flashing before his hungry eyes. Do I leave? Do I stay? Do I even talk to him?
