“Allen, Son… Are you okay?” I asked, drawing closer to him.

We all returned to the mansion a few minutes ago, looking all dull from the visit.

The one who was down the most was my son, Allen. He hasn’t said a word since we left the hospital. And as his mother, I can understand how it feels to see someone who’s close to you, in such a terrible state.

My son is in shock.

That’s why I’m here to help him take away his worry. I’m his mother.

“Talk to me, Allen. Don’t stay quiet,” I said, sitting right next to him with my hand falling on his shoulder.

The moment my hand landed on him; Allen spoke without looking at me. “I don’t know what to do or say anymore. Are we just dealing with a rogue or an evil spirit?” He asked.

I didn’t even bother to answer that question but ran my fingers in his hair, showing him my support. If only he knows that the beings we’re dealing with are way beyond him. I bet he would lose his confidence
