Chapter 16. Pushing the Boundaries

Emma’s POV

I gazed at my reflection in the mirror, I couldn’t help but notice the transformation. My muscles were toned, my posture confident, and my eyes shone with a newfound determination. “This feels different. It’s almost like I’m in another person’s body,” I whispered to myself in disbelief. I never imagined myself looking this fit before, and I seemed more beautiful than before like this…or perhaps I was just being cocky again.

Either way, this transformation was pleasing. “At this point I can only imagine how I would look with tone abs,” I continued to drool over my appearance.

“You see how capable you are. You almost backed out earlier just because you feared the training,” Hailey cut in, her voice laced with a hint of mockery.
