I turned back to Eliana, a triumphant look on my face. “See? Hunter can help me. I don’t need you.”

Eliana’s expression turned thoughtful, and for a moment, Emma thought she saw a glimmer of uncertainty. But then, Eliana’s face hardened again. “It doesn’t matter,” she said. “I am the only one who can heal you instantly just like your companion over there,” she nodded towards Parker.

My eyes widened, my mind racing as I tried to process Eliana’s words. I had seen it with my own eyes, the way her touch had healed Parker’s wounds instantly. No scars, no pain, no sign of injury whatsoever. It was a power I couldn’t understand, and it both fascinated and terrified me.
