Faith’s POV
“Martin, he’s too young to experience being brokenhearted.”
“Babe, I was brokenhearted when I was a teenager.”
I rolled my eyes. “Even so. We all have different experiences when it comes to heartbreak, but as Sean’s mother, I’m afraid for him. And more than that, I don’t want him getting into the habit of betting. I really don’t want that.” Because I grew up in an orphanage with nuns, I know it’s wrong to gamble.
