Faith’s POV
When Martin and Sean got back to the garden, I was busy taking pictures of Sienna, who was obviously enjoying herself. Fortunately, our youngest was having fun. I looked at Martin—he seemed angry or something. I frowned, wondering why. When I glanced again at Martin, I couldn’t even read his face.
I approached them. “Sean, do you want to eat?” I asked, since he hadn’t eaten anything since we arrived at the party. He just shook his head and focused on the cellphone in his hand. I looked at Martin. “What’s wrong with Sean? Where did you see him?”
Martin glanced at our son before stepping closer to me. “What time does the party end?” he asked.
“Huh? I don’t know. Why? Are you bored?”
“I need to talk to Sean.”
“Why? Did something happen?” I asked worriedly. Even Celine looked worried, hearing our conversation.
