Chapter 18. Flowers
Cristine’s POV
I slowly opened my eyes and saw the light coming from the window. My sight was still blurry when I reached for my phone above the side table.
7:46 a.m
I get up and remove some hair strands that were blocking my face. I’m still sleepy, but I have so much work to do today.
“Five minutes more.” I was about to go back to sleeping when I heard the sound of my doorbell.
My eyebrows furrowed, and I tried to think if I had invited someone today to come in here. Who the hell would visit me early this morning?
I tried to close my eyes again, but the doorbell rang again, and that made me annoyed.
“Get lost!”
I get up and fix myself first before I go out of my room. When I reached the door, I twisted the doorknob, and I saw an unfamiliar guy outside.
He was wearing a white cap, a black polo shirt, black pants, and white rubber shoes. He was smiling from ear to ear while holding a bouquet of pink tulips in his arms.
