Chapter 23. Carnival
Cristine’s POV
“Delivery, Ma’am!”
My eyebrows almost met when I saw a delivery man outside of my apartment. I saw a bicycle covered with plastic besides him.
“I’m sorry. You got the wrong address; I didn’t order anything,” I said, and I was about to close the door, but the man pushed the door open.
“No, Ma’am. This is really for you, and don’t worry, this is already paid. Just sign this for confirmation,” he said, handing me the clipboard with the delivery sheet on it.
“Who sent this?”
“Mister Aron Quizon, Ma’am.”
That moron was wasting money buying stuff for me. I signed the sheet and gave it back to the delivery man.
“Thank you, Ma’am!” he said before leaving.
I looked at the bicycle. It was black and had a basket. I go outside to check it, and actually, it’s really good.
I looked at the sky and saw that the weather was really good. I’m still worried about my father; is he still mad at me? I hope he’s not anymore.
