Cristine’s POV

I was pushing the cart filled with groceries that I bought earlier. I’m here in the underground parking lot of the mall.

When I arrived in the car, I put the grocery bags inside the compartment and closed it. This is my father’s car, not the one he used when the accident happened. He actually has two cars; I was using the red one. I was shocked when I saw Aron behind me and pinned me against the door of the car next to mine.

“What are you doing?” I asked as I breathed rapidly.

As I looked at him, I saw a variety of emotions in his eyes. And I couldn’t find the right words to explain his feelings, which were like a galaxy. Dark and full of unexplained mysteries.

“Where were you yesterday?” His voice was deep, and it was actually giving me goose bumps.
