Chapter 29. Feelings

Cristine’s POV

I roamed my eyes at the surroundings.

The silence of this place was calming. I saw some patients having a good time here, just like me, trying to convince themselves that everything would be alright.

These past few days, I admit that I have missed him. His presence was annoying, but at the same time, I forgot my problems for a while when he's around. I’m wondering if he's fine out there.

“It looks like someone dipped into a deep well of thinking.”

I looked up to see who had suddenly spoken. It was Yuri. He smiled and sat beside me.

“It’s nothing. I just want to breathe some fresh air,” I said as I looked back at the people.

“I don’t believe you. Come on, tell me what’s bothering you.”

I take some time to think about whether I should tell him what’s on my mind or just forget about it. But I think I need to share this with someone whom I can trust enough and whom I know can help me.
