Chapter 28. Betrayal

Third Person’s POV

Fred’s car stopped in front of Quizon’s mansion. He looked at Aron, who was sitting in the front seat. Aron was looking outside, hesitating if he would go out or not.

“Hey, bro. Are you nervous?” Fred asked as he held Aron’s left shoulder.

Aron looked at him and gave him a half-smile before he tapped his hand. He’s already here, so there’s no turning back.

“I’m fine. Thank you for going with me in the province and for going back here with me."

Fred was a good friend and more like a brother to him. Whenever he needed someone, Fred was there for him.

Aron decided to step out of the car. After he got his luggage, he bid his goodbyes to Fred.

Nervous, he walked towards the huge door of their mansion. Maids greeted him and helped him with his luggage. They didn’t expect that he'd come today.

“Where’s Mom?” he asked Joy.
