"I need an update about my daughter! She's been missing for a long time. Are you going to wait a year before you take action?"

I'm here at the police station, confronting the officers who were handling Mikaella's case. I'm so pissed because they seem to not be moving or even investigating!

Police officer Santiago stood straight, not bothered by everything that I said.

"Mr. Quizon, we are doing our best to find your daughter. The only thing that we want you to do is wait patiently and trust us," he said, his face neutral.

I smirked due to that. If only Jannah were not stopping me, then I'd punch this asshole.

I came closer to him; he was not breaking his stare at me. What was something that he was so proud of? His position?

I could pay for his whole service for a year!

"We were waiting for a long period of time, but you still don't have an update about my daughter." I looked at his badge and looked up at him before I narrowed
