Cristine's POV

I'm looking at the guests who were dancing while the soft and romantic music was playing. It's already dark, and the lights here made the event more special.

I saw Auntie Grace and Anton dancing while hugging each other. I'm still thinking about what she said to me earlier. For a moment, I thought that Aron really had no choice back then because it was his mother's decision.

But I'm still confused about why he didn't fight for me. He was afraid to get poor. He was afraid to lose his money and wealth, but not afraid to lose me.
