Chapter 4

I wanted this conversation to end as soon as possible. I stretched out my hand and said, "Just give me my money, hurry up!"

He handed me a bunch of bills, "500 dollars."

"Yeah, 500 dollars."

I was surprised. He gave me a lot of money just like that, "Does your money grow from trees?"

He grinned and took the money back from my hand.

"If you think this money is too much, we can meet again."

I snatched my money back, slightly terse, "No thanks!"

I tied up my long hair and put on heels. He looked at me from behind.

"You're going to that place again?"

"It doesn't matter where I have to go. I have to earn some money.'

"Hm, you pretended to be a rental woman until the end?"

I looked at him with a glare and an angry face, "None of your business! I have to go now, goodbye. I will make sure we will never meet again!"

He smiled charmingly at me, "Seeing me act like this, you're just like the stepsister I found at the orphanage."

"I don't know him and have nothing to do with you anymore!"

I rushed out of the room and closed the door very roughly.

"He is a very annoying, perverted, arrogant man!"

"Hey, rental lady!"

I frowned, surprised to see him behind me. I gave him an annoyed face.

"What else do you want from me?"

He smiled charmingly and showed me a woman's purse. Unlucky! My wallet was left behind, and it was with him.

"Back to me! Return!" I continued to jump, but his size was impossible to reach, so I better ignore him and watch him angrily.

He gripped my wallet tightly and showed it to me, "Here, it's quite an expensive wallet for a lowly woman like you. Hm, let me see what's inside."

I jumped up, trying to snatch the wallet, "Bastard, give it back to me!"

"Shut up, little lady. I'm just feeding my curiosity about you."

"Old bastard!"

All my efforts were in vain. I couldn't get my wallet back and only heard the older adult muttering to himself.

"Hanbook University, Medicine? Olivia Cambridge?"

I saw he seemed hallucinating and a little careless in his supervision, so I quickly snatched the wallet from his hand.

I pointed at him with my index finger and said, "Old bastard! Don't do that to others if you don't want to get the death penalty!"

"Olivia Cambridge?"

He was still hallucinating, frozen in place as my name kept coming from his lips. I chose to leave immediately.

"Weird bastard!"

"Your family background is not that of a commoner, Olivia Cambridge!"

Walking under the moonlight, no more pedestrians are passing by, and very few vehicles pass through this place. My mind is confused, and my heart is restless.

"Damn it, I have given my virginity to a perverted, ignorant, arrogant man!"

After speaking harshly and releasing all my anger, I realized one thing that always makes my heart uneasy:

"Bastard! my card! I left my card with that bastard!"

I knelt on the sand and held my head in frustration. "Old bastard! He stole my card. Argh!

I remember when he froze with his lips and kept saying my name.

"Then does he know I'm the daughter of Robert Stevenly? From the start, this was a mistake."

I covered my face with my hands. "I feel tired.

If I only have a few more moments, my body will collapse again and become unconscious. This was my first time doing it, and it made me very tired. I stared at the large black gate in front of me.

"Open the door for me."

The big black door opened, and I entered the gate to get to the big mansion. An older woman approached me with an anxious expression on her face.

"Young lady, you are pale and seem to have lost energy."

"Yeah, I was a total mess tonight."

I see an older man with white hair, a big body, and an arrogant and temperamental face through the window. He is Robert Stevenly, my foster father.

"Miss, sir wants to talk to you."

"Say I went somewhere and never came back."

My footsteps didn't lead me to the mansion's entrance but to a small warehouse, barely visible in the corner of the manor.

The sun returned to disturb my sleep, and I woke up with a headache and body aches.

"Geez. Miss, were you in the warehouse all night?"

"Don't mess with me so early in the morning. I have a pain in my head, so don't make any noise."

"The headache is because you fell asleep in the warehouse with strong winds all night, and you haven't had breakfast, Miss!"

"I know that, but shut your mouth. After gaining some consciousness, I will have breakfast soon."

"There's no time. You have to have breakfast as soon as possible, Miss!"

"What's the time now?"

"It's 6 AM."

I immediately got up and took off my heels, stepping faster.

"Why didn't you wake me up?!"

"I have awakened you, miss. But you didn't respond because you didn't get enough sleep and came home late at night."

"Then, what about Mr. Robert?"

"Yes, he-"

I quickly ran out of the warehouse, my servant faithfully following behind me.

"Why did Miss Olivia choose to sleep in the warehouse? You have a big and comfortable room there. Why choose to be in the warehouse like a rat?"

"No reason."

I quickly approached the mansion, where the bodyguards were waiting for me.

"Good morning, Miss Olivia."

"Yes, good morning."

The bodyguard and I entered a large mansion that was spacious and very luxurious. We walked together, and occasionally, he looked at me.

"Sleeping in the warehouse again, as usual, Miss Olivia?"

I just laughed and scratched the nape of my neck a little. "I don't have any other choice but to escape, right?"

Our footsteps took me to a luxurious dining room with rows of six chairs arranged neatly. A man with an arrogant face was sitting on one of the benches, waiting for me.

"Olivia."
