Chapter 22

Lucy's POV 

I kept quiet watching what was going on. Professor Fred was led by the staff to the office. The Academy President gave an order and no one could counter it without facing the consequences. 

I watched under the daylight as Fred submitted, submerged in thoughts as he was led away. Caroline came out of the crowd rushing towards me, she hugged me so tight, taking me off the ground. 

“You did so well, now the girls would be proud of you.” She said, I hummed and turned to look at Alpha Eric who was just by my side, talking with one of the officials that came out. His eyes clicked with mine, lingered for a while before we withdrew. 

“Yes, all the girls will be proud of me except one, or probably two.” I muttered with sarcasm. Eric was quite distracted as he paused his interaction and gazed at me, his brows a bit lowered. 

“Who's that?” He asked in a mindlink.
