Serena's POV 

"Talk to your sister for the last time because you would be leaving here and never again would you set foot on this estate!"  

"I have nothing to say to her." Carla burst into a loud laughter, leaving me surprised. What was she laughing about? I wondered. 

"I should even be the one getting angry, not you." She smirked, then sat up, her gaze went directly to Carter as she was gonna report something to him. "After you left, I changed my mind and felt bad rejecting someone like you. You know you are fair, handsome, charming and cute looking, I can't just describe your beauty with words..."

I tried my best to reduce my focus on the statement she was making, I had to distract myself with thoughts. Listening to these was burning me up with jealousy, I couldn't let this eat me up while she was enjoying. I didn't want myself getting hurt any more and I couldn't interrupt her as well because she wasn't talking to me.
