Chapter 37. A Nice Tour

Milan’s POV

“Wow,” I breathed, taking in the view. “This is incredible.”

“Isn’t it?” Alpha Jake said, standing next to me. “It’s one of my favorite places to come to relax and clear my head.”

“I can see why,” I said. “It’s so peaceful and quiet here.”

“Would you like to sit for a bit?” Alpha Jake asked, motioning to a large rock nearby.

“That would be great,” I said, following him over to the rock. We sat down and simply enjoyed the view for a few minutes.

“So, what do you think of the pack so far?” Alpha Jake asked after a while.

“I think they’re all very welcoming,” I said, remembering how friendly everyone had been when we arrived. “I feel like I’ve been here for much longer than I have.”

“I’m glad to hear that,” Alpha Jake said, a smile on his lips.

“Except for one person who feels that my presence at the pack is gonna be a problem.” I said, as I sighed.
