Chapter 76. See Her in a New Light

Third Person’s POV

After Talia left Milan’s room, she walked towards her room, and on her way, she met Alpha Jake standing at the entrance of her room waiting for her.

She looked at him with a curious gaze as to why he came over to see her.

“Alpha Jake, what are you doing here? It’s unlike you to come and see me.”

Alpha Jake looked at her, his expression unreadable. “Talia, I need to talk to you about something,” he said, his tone serious. “Can we go inside your room to talk?”

Talia’s heart started to race as she tried to guess what Alpha Jake wanted to talk to her about. “Of course,” she said, stepping aside to let him in. “Come in.”

They both walked into the room, and Talia gestured for him to sit down on the bed. He did, and she sat down next to him, feeling a bit nervous.

“So, what is it that you wanted to talk about?” she asked, trying to sound calm.

Alpha Jake took a deep breath as if he was trying to gather his thoughts.
