Chapter 83. Birthday Surprise

Third Person’s POV

After he said that, Talia knew that Alpha Jake would be determined to find who had killed one of his Betas. So she knew she needed to execute her plans as fast as possible before it would point to her.

She suddenly got up, “I think I need to leave and check on something outside the pack house.”

Alpha Jake looked up from his desk. “Where are you going, Talia?” he asked, curious.

“Well... um… today is your birthday… and so I need to get you a gift,” Talia said, trying not to make Alpha Jake suspect her.
