Milan’s POV

I was so happy that Talia and I were connecting so well and it felt great to have a new female Beta as a friend.

She hated me before, but I guess she had finally accepted me as a friend and one of the members of her pack.

When she suggested that we both go and get the cake to celebrate Alpha Jake’s birthday, I was happy about the idea as it would give me the chance to get to know Talia better.

“So where are we getting the cake?” I asked her, a look of excitement in my eyes.

Talia grinned. “There’s a bakery in town that makes the most amazing cakes,” she said. “I’ve heard they have some creative designs, and they’re known for their delicious taste. I think we should go there and see if we can find something perfect for Alpha Jake.”

“That sounds like a plan,” I said. “Let’s go check it out.”
