The soft moonlight is causing her silver night dress to glow in the dark. She looks like an angel, and I have missed her. The king has told us there is no need to keep seeing ‘the Breeder.’ His words. That and how he refers to her as a Breeder seems like just a tactic to remind all of us why we are here and what she is.

To me, she is still Rose. My sweet angelic Rose… not just some Breeder.

My gaze moves up her body, savoring how perfect she looks. When I finally focus on her face, I notice a deep scowl.

“Really? Are you busy undressing me with your eyes? Is sex all you think about? You climbed up here expecting that the little Breeder will spread her legs wide for you? I am a Breeder, I am pregnant, so the job is done. I am not your little whore to relieve whatever tension you might have brewing in your balls,” she spits.

Her eyes are blazing even in the dim lighting. There is no question she is angry.
