Chapter 108. Anything in Your Dream

The next few months were spent walking and exploring, finding interesting places and spending long hours lying under the trees together. During the times when we weren’t sleeping, we were either talking or kissing, which often happened when it was raining.

I had grown extremely comfortable being with Jake, I loved everything about him. I felt safe with him. Whenever he hugged me, my heart would race. Or when he would stroke my hair, I was mesmerized. Every gesture and look he gave me, made my heart soar.

Every moment with him was so perfect, it was impossible for me to imagine another. We fit perfectly together, and I knew I didn’t have anywhere else to be. All I cared about was staying in Jake’s arms. He made me feel complete. I felt safe, protected and loved. And that’s how it was supposed to be.

When I finally woke up, the sunlight was streaming into my bedroom window. The sun was rising, signaling that it was about to start another day. I sighed, thinking of th
