Chapter 49. You're Always Welcome

“Ethan, you know that I love my sister, so of course I’d be welcoming to her, but she’s hardly ever around either. I’ve barely seen her since she moved away. I don’t really see the point in having a big family dinner just so that she’ll show up.”

“Good, thanks babe.” I grinned happily before leaning forward to hug him. He wrapped his arms around me, returning my embrace. The warmth of his body made me smile against his chest.
