“Oh, yes, right. Right.” He nodded his head.

He grabbed hold of my wrist and led me out of the bedroom and towards the bathroom. We walked past his mother, who had just woken up and was currently making her bed, a content smile plastered across her face. She caught his eye, a small knowing smile playing upon her lips.

“Morning sweetie. Have a nice morning.” She murmured, her gaze shifting towards his hand which was holding my hand. He immediately let go of my hand, cursing under his breath silently.

“I was just showing her where the bathroom is.” He muttered defensively, turning away from his mother’s questioning gaze and entering the bathroom to change.
