“Forgive me, My Lords. But this man here is the current Madurk. His marriage and coronation should be happening anytime from now and he needs to get back.” Alastair pleads my case again and I am stunned at how much he knows about me… And my marriage?

“We must not keep him here longer and risk the war coming to our home, Xanadu. We already have a lot going on,” he continues.

“He is Madurk, huh? How convenient,” she says to her brothers again.

“We struggle with earthquakes already, scarcity of meat, iron for our weapons, and milk. The day he defeated me, we had gone to Asterisk to hunt for meat and milk when we were attacked. You know we are cursed to change form on the surface…”

“He is not Madurk! He is the Prince of the Underworld! This is the underworld!” she yel
