Chapter 9. Miracle in Three Hours

After taking the pill, I feel nothing has changed. The two doctors share a look, and Sue looks very nervous.
“How do you feel?” The middle-aged doctor asks me, and I shrug lightly.
“The same,” I reply to him.
“There is no instant rejection from your body, that is a good thing,” he says to himself as he takes out a small notepad from his pocket and scribbles a few words down.
“Okay, we will be back in three hours. By that time, hopefully, you should be walking,” he smiles at me when he says this, and I reward him with a nervous, shaky smile in return.
I watch them pack up their bags and medical things while paying close attention to how I feel right now. I just took a d*** that has only been tested on mice, and almost all the mice that it was tried on died.
