I watched as Amber emerged from the changing room. Ignoring the gasps from the pack members, I could only see her. White fur and those blue eyes.

She approached us calmly, wagging her tail, her ears upwardly pointed, her aura calm.

And then, my eyes moved to the spot on her shoulders. I had been shaken to the core when I had seen it. It was a mark, shaped like a star. Black, a sharp contrast to my white one.

Heck, everything about her seemed to contrast mine. My wolf was entirely black, except the white star mark on my shoulders.

At the same spot where she had hers, I also had mine.

After seeing the mark that night, I had avoided her for a while.

"White fur? That's rare, Alpha. We don't usually have white furred wolves." Brandon said beside me. However, I could tell he wasn't surprised. His demeanor was calm, and unfazed.
