"You must be mistaken. Gaius isn't a spy. He was my father's friend." I insisted. My eyes met Brandon's, and he winced.

"I'm afraid, it's the truth." Alpha Aurel sighed. 

I looked up at the ceiling, wishing on the goddess to wake me up from this nightmare. It didn't work. When I brought my gaze down, the others were staring at me solemnly.
