The physician arrived immediately and after a few treatments, he asked me to carry her into one of the tents that had been made behind the battle zone. I quickly carried her and we all headed to the tents. However, something unexpected happened. 

The remaining witches tried to attack us and block our path. Reene rushed upfront to intervene but they all began to die one after the other, cracking and turning to dust in the air. 

The sight made me shocked but I carried on with what I was supposed to do at the moment and that was getting her to the tent where the physician would carry out the rest of the treatment. 

I prayed the blade was a normal one. Some people, especially the paranormal ones, like witches liked to have their blades cursed so that it would ultimately kill whoever it was used on no matter the treatment or magic that was employed to counter it.
