The silence in the apartment was loud after Riley had been locked in his room for the past three hours.

I sat on the couch, staring at my phone, my mind running amok with possibilities and frustrations as I was both satisfied and upset with today’s event.

Xenois had seen Lumina’s true nature like I wanted him to see, but he’d also rejected my advances towards him which made things worse.
