The group training is about to begin; Alpha David and Alpha Eric are explaining the final rules. This training won't take place in the arena. With the help of some sorcerers, it was possible to create new challenges in the desert, making the tests each group had to go through more extensive and spaced out.

While Alpha David and Alpha Eric were still talking to the participants, I decided to leave the area. This is the perfect time to put one of my plans into action. I walk alone to the observation room, knowing that David Turner will be there when the tests begin. As I'm about to turn the corner of the hallway leading to the room, I see Benson and Emily leaving the observation room alone. Benson is holding hands with my former partner.
