Chapter 22. Shadows of Deception

Jimmy's Pov

"Have you heard the latest victory, Mr. Frank?" I ask triumphantly. Alpha Frank raises an eyebrow at the question, waiting for me to reveal the information. "Alpha David Turner has been declared dead," I announce. A satisfied expression appears on Frank Frost's face.

"I must admit, Jimmy Doorson, I didn't think this would work out. After the two failed attempts to assassinate Benson," Frank says with superiority. His contempt makes my blood boil, but I keep control."

When we planned the attack on Benson in the arena, Nina was in charge of making the poison for David Turner. We were supposed to have gained control of the kingdom and the Blue Bay Pack on that day, however, Emily Turner always was a thorn in our side. She had helped Benson in the arena, if he had been alone, the death would have been certain.

When the poison hit David Turner, I knew it wouldn't be long before he died. The poison
