Edgar is furious within me as he watches Frank choke Emily like that. I barely kept control at that moment. Emily's heart was racing in her chest. Her breath came in short gasps. Our bond screamed through my body to protect her. The others looked shocked at the footage of David Turner's assassin on the computer. I kept my attention on Emily. I wanted to hug her and comfort her completely for the loss of her father.

Alpha Frank demands a more thorough investigation into David Turner's murder. He became more restrained in wanting to touch Emily. However, there was still resentment for the loss of the werewolf Kevin.
