Chapter 7. The Bond

Benson's Pov

I'm walking down a long corridor filled with marble columns, a feminine voice whispers for me to find her. I follow the voice eagerly. I reach a room brightly lit by candles. Sitting in a blue armchair is the girl I saved a few weeks ago. She wears my black jacket and nothing else, her long hair falls forward. The vibrant blue eyes of the young woman sitting in front of me fascinate me.

"You found me," the young woman says, smiling, and gets up. I walk towards her, my arms reaching out to her and encircling her waist. The lips of the young woman are crimson red and full. She strokes my face, her touch soft against my rough skin due to the beard. I lean in to kiss her, and as I do, I am pulled back to reality.

I am in my room, alone. I rub my tired eyes, look at the clock, and realize it's still three in the morning. It's the third consecutive night that my sleep is interrupted by these dreams. The celestial vibrant blue ey
