Chapter 18. An Irresistible Attraction

Sophia's POV

Again I can feel the hairs on the back of my neck creeping up and I look around, we are at the exit of the bar, there are a few cars around, and several people are looking at our discussion, but I know it's not any of them, so I let my gaze wander to more hidden places.

Alex holds my arm, but I don't push him, I know he understands what I am doing and he is also looking around.

And finally I stopped looking further to the right, a much darker street and it was impossible to tell if there was anything there, but I knew that whatever was watching me was there.

"Sophia, we need to go." I heard Alex's voice and with my peripheral vision, I saw some people going in the direction I had stopped to pay more attention. "Sophia, please."

"Ok." I agreed and turned to Alex.

Our SUV was already stopped nearby. I got into the passenger seat, put my seatbelt on and Alex got in right away. I tried to see what was going on in the rear
