Zion Taylor followed Cassandra Taylor into the room. As soon as she closed the door behind them, he clutched her hand and said sweetly, “Sis, I missed you so much!”

“I missed you too,” Cassandra replied with a smile, glancing fondly at his adorable face that looked like it came straight out of a painting.

She really wanted to pinch his cheeks, but her hands were full. “So, have you been a good boy for Aunt Charlotte while I was gone?”

“Yes! I listened to everything Aunt Charlotte said!” Zion nodded hard, his big sparkling eyes drifting toward the bag in her hand. He grinned brightly and asked, “Did you bring me a present from the capital?”

“Of course I did. I got you a build-it-yourself Transformers set. It’s in the suitcase Aunt Charlotte brought.” Cassandra smiled.

“Thank you, Sis!” Zion happily gave her hand a quick kiss, then dashed to Charlotte Hooper, tugging on her to hurry and fetch the toy.
