Day 1.
Water.
I needed water.
My throat was dry, and so were my insides.
Pain.
It was unbearable.
Sweat. I could feel it trickling down my body. It was so hot in here. Stop. Please stop it.
I wanted to scream, but the words died in my mouth. All I could manage was a groan. It scratched my throat as I coughed violently. I knew they could see my struggles and pain, but they were just standing over me.
They had bound me in chains that seemed to stretch back through time itself. The cold metal dug into my flesh, but the pain was only the beginning. It was nothing compared to what they planned to do.
My lids fluttered, and I saw Zane standing before me, his face wearing a mask of cruel detachment. He had always been like this.
