Chapter 47. One Sister for Another

Alaric’s POV

It’s been weeks since Daisy returned to the palace, and I’m still in the dark about this mysterious person who supposedly helped her.

I’m determined to seize the letter she wants to send, no matter what it takes. I can’t let anyone interfere with my plans now.

Daisy seems to have formed a bond with this person, and I need to sever that connection completely, to keep the person from discovering her whereabouts. My mind drifted back to Delilah... Ah, Delilah.

Now that I have Daisy, I will use her as leverage to get Delilah back. I will exchange one sister for the other, and I hope that Delilah will finally forgive me and come back to the palace. The thought consumes me, and I will stop at nothing to make it a reality.
