Chapter 45. Fairytale

Daisy’s POV

Amaya led me to my room, and I was surprised to see everything perfectly organized and tidy. My clothes were folded and put away and my bed was made with crisp, clean sheets. The room was spotless, and it looked like nothing had been disturbed.

“Wow, I didn’t get this kind of hospitality the last time I was here,” I said.

“It’s the alpha’s order, anything you want, you get,” Amaya replied.

“So how was the palace like when I left, Delilah, how did she run away?” I asked.

“We are not allowed to talk about all those things, but everything has been off ever since you left, the palace has been strange,” she replied, her voice barely a whisper.

“Okay, I understand,” I said.

“Have prepared a bath for you,” she said.

“Okay,” I said and went to the bathroom.

As I relaxed in the warm bath, my thoughts drifted back to Draco. I wondered if he had returned and if he was searching for me.
