Chapter 58. Familiar Scent

Magnus’ POV

I felt a mix of relief and excitement as I thought about finally finding the chosen one. The moon goddess had promised to send someone to destroy the witches, but that plan won’t see the light of day.

I felt like my mission was accomplished, and I was one step closer to breaking the curse. The curse said that the chosen one would destroy the witches, but I planned to use them to my advantage.

I wanted to keep both Daisy and Delilah, as I didn’t fully trust Alaric and thought I might need Delilah later on. But I had made a deal with Alaric to release Delilah, and I had to keep my word.

I planned to use Daisy for the ritual and then keep her for myself while releasing Delilah as promised. This way, the werewolves would surrender to us, and we would have the upper hand.

I was eager for the day of the ritual to come, so I could finally put an end to the curse and secure the witches’ power.
